Dawang Mountain National Forest Park was built in 2000 and is located east of Yunan County, with a total area of 12,090 mu.The park is dense forest, with a coverage rate of 96.6%. It is an urban social public welfare forest park and regional ecological green space.In December 2004, the State Forest Administration officially approved the establishment of a National Forest Park.In 2015 it was rated National 3A.

The park has built cherry blossom, peach blossom, plum blossom, full spring, camellia, Yihua, palace Bauhinia, azalea and other viewing facilities; completed the green square, Yuanyuan Road, integrity walking road, bicycle greenway, hiking path, swimming pool and other facilities.

The pure pine forest in the park was transformed, and local wide-leaf trees such as camphor, wood lotus, red lotus, Li shade, red vertebra and other tree species were planted.It has become a good place for leisure, fitness, entertainment and tourism during holidays. In 2015, the Zodiac square, fitness square and surrounding greening were upgraded. In 2016,50 mu of red maple forest was planned to be built next to camellia oil. In 2017, more than 800 jacaranda trees were planted in the central area of the park (beside the pool), and more than 700 peach plants and 300 plum blossom garden were upgraded.greatly add the landscape of the park, further enhance the taste of the park.
